Hotel Reservations

The Conference Organizing Committee has reserved rooms at special rates in selected hotels downtown in the area surrounding the PALAIS DES CONGRÈS DE MONTRÉAL (Montreal Convention Centre).

All Hotels are within a 5 to 15 minute walk and most have easy access to subway (metro) stations. The Palais des Congrès de Montréal is located at Place-d'Armes metro station on the Henri-Bourassa/Cote-Vertu (orange) line. Map of Metro

Reservation and Payment

Rates are quoted on per night per room basis. Breakfast is not included, except at the Travelodge hotel.

A first night deposit is required. This deposit is equivalent to the room rate for your first choice hotel.

Cheque or money orders should be made payable to the order of "ISEE 2004-UQAM". Room rates are in Canadian dollars and are subject to a room tax of $2 per night, plus federal and provincial taxes (GST, QST).

To make a hotel reservation, please complete the hotel reservation form.

Hotel reservations will not be processed unless they are accompanied by the necessary deposit.

PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR DEPOSIT IS KEPT SEPARATE FROM YOUR REGISTRATION PAYMENT.

Rooms will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations made directly at the hotel by the participant will not be accepted. Reservation requests must be received at the Secretariat no later than May 1st, 2004. The availability and cost of the rooms cannot be guaranteed after that date.

Cancellation and Deadlines

All hotel changes must be sent to ISEE 2004 Secretariat in writing only (letter/fax/email) no later than June 11, 2004. All cancellations received prior to this date will be refunded their deposit less $20 processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after June 11, 2004. All reimbursements will be issued after the Conference.

Confirmation

An official confirmation of your hotel reservation will be e-mailed to you from the Conference Secretariat-JPdL once your file is verified. The hotel will send confirmation separately.
